By 1944, more than 450 local farmers had joined the collective. Production exploded and just a few years later, the facility expanded to a series of buildings sprawled across 19 acres of land. The site was so impressive that it was featured in local photos as one of the leading industries in the region. Along with milk, the facility churned out cheese and ice cream.
In the early 1960s, Lehigh expanded with the purchase of Martin Century Farms, a historic dairy situated on a scenic 241-acre campus. The next 40 years would be filled with more acquisitions, followed by a turbulent series of sales and a recession. Through it all, we remained committed to providing excellent products and service to our customers.
Today our product line includes milk, cultured products, cream and juice drinks. We have state-of-the-art facilities in Pennsylvania that ensure fresh Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms® products are always available. And we’re proud to be owned by Dairy Farmers of America, a collective of family-farmers personally invested in every sip, spoonful and splash of dairy we bring you.
